Well, this is it: The End.  After six years of head-scratching, second-guessing, cliché-dodging, and no small amount of WTF? moments, one of the greatest mysteries in television history is being unraveled.  May 23 is the 2½-hour series finale that promises to leave nothing hanging.

Are there any other local Lost Furries?

I got on board at the start of season 2, and quickly realized it was one of those shows you had to watch religiously in order to both follow the plot and pickup all the subtle allusions.  Even my mother, who has been watching this show from the beginning, relies on me to keep track of certain points.

How do you think it will end?

The light is a collection of glow stones; the castaways will go inside the cave and emerge on...Dinotopia.  Meanwhile, in the alternate universe, all of the passengers will be convinced to once more get on that plane, and it will crash on...Dinotopia.  Ok, silly, I know, but think about it.  Dinotopia premiered as a weekly series on the same network in 2002, and after a few egregious weeks it got the axe.  That show too was about a group of plane crash survivors landing on a mysterious, populated, uncharted island.  Imagine if Oceanic Flight 815 had gone down on Dinotopia.  Now there's a series!

Actually, I thought the show would end with Ben killing Penny in front of Widmore; then Ben kills Widmore, then an enraged Desmond kills Ben before turning the gun on himself.  Now I think it has to end with the alternatives somehow reconnecting with themselves in the normal timeline.  Either the status quo will be preserved, with The Man in Black still living and one of the survivors taking Jacob's place (probably Jack), or the Man in Black dies (sucked up into a vacuum, perhaps?) and everybody leaving, maybe Richard will sacrifice himself heroically and all the ghosts will be released.  Yeah, you people who haven't watched the show have NO IDEA what I am talking about.
