okay first Micky mouse didn't say anything when i was there either :(
and second the Monster Trucks where really good back in like 98 or some time when i was young, but now they have really gone down hill i had gone last year and the year before not near as good as in 98 cuz they don't put dirt down anymore so they cant go as fast or take as big of jumps :( also no demolition derby or anything as cool. A little show by some drift cars and a bunch of trick motorbike riders but it just doesn't top 98 with the giant robot Dinosaur and stuff also a truck accidentally caught fire in the demolition derby  ;D . it went down the tubes though cuz the roof was not in good enough condition now though maybe they have fixed it so they can put dirt back in and bring the GREAT QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT they had 12 years ago, hope it is as fun for you as it was for me Roffo  ;D
To love is to try, so die trying

When I saw the monster trucks when I was a young lad back in the day, I thought they were pretty fun XD

Years later in high school, in seemed that every year the students who went to the motor sports shows at BC Place only wanted to talk about the alcohol-fuelled disruptors in the stands who would make asses of themselves and get into fights.

And as to the PNE, it has not been the same since 1999.  Since that time, the show has mainly consisted of motor bikes going off ramps and that same monster truck ever year (the one you can ride between shows).  Prior to this, the show was much different.  There were stock car races, demolition derbies, and rollover contests.  I always enjoyed ending the PNE at the night show with the North Shore all lit up and the crash smashing into each other.

And then there was Mr. Fox.  99.3 The Fox sponsored this show back in the days when they actually played good music on their station.  Mr. Fox was there every year.  I never had the courage to meet him, but he was always fun to watch.  Sometimes he would flag the races, and usually he would lead us in the YMCA.  But when the show changed formats, Mr. Fox disappeared.

Actually, the mouses have been gone for a while now.  They were missing last year at the PNE too.  My Dad used to cleanup the upchucks from that ride.

i went last year too...... i thought it was temporary :(

That's the little roller-coastery one, right? As in, the one with sudden stops at the corners and whatnot, not the corkscrew or wooden one (please excuse my horrible description; I haven't been to Playland for six or seven years :P).
