Goodbye to a fandom

I wasn't sure were I should post this, but this is my goodbye to the fandom. Lately I had my child ripped from my life and have been struggling with PTSD and generalized anxiety disorder. Last night I decided to go out for the first time in almost a whole year, my therapist thought I was ready. When me and my fiance got there one of my ex's was there bragging about how she cheated on me and turned all the people I once thought were my friends against me. (no names given as I don't want to cause a commotion in the fandom) Last night was supposed to be a huge step in recovering back into society and the fandom really let me down. I was heart-broken and defeated, no longer will I put up with a non supportive fandom.

You know that I am always here for you! Unlike a lot of the people who claim to be such an integral part of this fandom, I stick with solid friends and hold that friendship in a VERY high regard. Its those who turn on you that show their true colors - similar to those who turned on me at CF this year. Its ok for you to take a break from the fandom and work on yourself - just remember that if you ever need a TRUE friend, you know how to get a hold of me.
