Where there's smoke...

Spokane is pretty choked up with smoke, right now. Maps have been posted showing that Eastern Washington, especially between the Lower Okanogan and Spokane, have the worst air indexes in the nation.

What the media down here seems to forget is that that smoke is coming from somewhere just as important! So how are you all weathering the fires? How bad have they gotten? Have any furs, God forbid, lost their homes, or know someone who has?

If you are interested, here is a map of all currently active fires in BC (and a couple close enough to the border to be on the map i guess) over 0.01 hectares i believe. Anything less doesn't get posted.
