I've been practicing and playing around at home, building up the calluses in my fingers again (ow), to potentially throw my hat in to play the talent show at VancouFur next year.

I don't think I'm anywhere near good enough, yet, but I'm in the process of building a band, furs and non-furs - I'm meeting with some people I helped record their current project with, so I likely have a bassist and keyboard/flute player.  I'm picking up a brand new drum kit next weekend, and they know a couple potentially interested guitarists (don't we all?).

I'd like to put down the guitar, pick up a microphone, and focus on my singing properly, with some like-minded individuals to back me up.  Rock/Alternative/Metal with bits of more laid back and interesting arrangements - if that sounds like fun, drop me a line. :)

Until then, have some very rough takes of me practicing some covers with my guitar:
