Hah figuratively bump tails I had meant, my feline acquaintance. You can check the calendar for events, a weekly inexpensive sushi meet next to Columbia skytrain is a good bet to meet active furs here if you like that sort of food, and there are a number of other fun and free events.

About affording one (not that they are necessary by any means), you could make one too. My realistic(ly proportioned) tail was $10 believe it or not from a charity that helps give people crafting jobs who have major disabilities, I made one too for $10 but that can have a bit of an initial offset of getting air brushing for painting stripes at least on a tiger's tail if you cannot borrow, others premade can be found all between unless you had something unique in mind.
