Well, too bad. It stopped!
I hope we get at least a few weeks of cool, sunny weather before everything turns a depressing gray.

I'm kinda looking forward to the rain. I come from Calgary and it barely ever rains there (except for this year apparently) so rain is a fun thing for me  :P

coming from Toronto i admit i kind of miss the snow.  not the cold, not the slush after the snow, nor the mess of trying to jump over the slush puddles.

wait until you have been here for a couple of years and experience 6 months of almost constant rain a couple of times.  your rain attitude may change.  but overall it is much better than the cold and snow.  i can always go up to grouse mtn or cypress bowl if i want snow.

I like snow because the air is dry and I can brush it off if it gets on me.
Here the air is wet, so even well above freezing it goes through all your fancy breathable rain layers and chills you to the bone. I'd take -30 with a bunch of cheap old army surplus layers any day. Coming inside  to the warmth is rewarding where as here you just sort of slowly dry off and warm up miserably.

If we can ever get a white christmas, you can call me Nobby. Oh look its hailing right now.

The problem isn't dry or wet air. It doesn't get cold enough for the snow to just shake off your clothing it melts too quickly. If we ever had temperatures below -5 it would be a different story.
I've always been told to never look a life behind a window to go outside and join the world, but what about the world behind that window makes the outside so much better?

i agree.   the snow is beautiful until ......... the roads get traveled and messed it up.  then the slush appears and more.

I've always like the snow, and like I said I'm from Calgary so we get a lot of it. Even though driving in it kind of sucks it's not all that bad. I'd rather have a ton of snow rather than no snow at all.

I'm going to miss having snow since I live in Vancouver now.
