Google can't tell me the answer to this, but hope anyone here can.

Has anyone from canada got a fursuit for the USA? Canada customs puts a hold on everything. So far everything I have be getting from the US has got a one week hold. But how long will a fursuit be held in Canada customs for? US customs all most never has any thing on hold. If anyone can help that would be good!!

i don't think there is "a hold" on your goods coming through customs.  with the amount of items coming through it takes time to get processed.  if is being shipped by UPS or Fedex then it is definitely the processing time.  when ordoring again just add on a week for delivery, and when it gets there sooner than expected, it is a surprise.

Is it possible it was listed as fursuit materials on the customs declaration, and not something more generic? (synthetic suit materials)

Maybe they thought it was something more real and were concerned :)
