Need Opinions on my Character

I am working on making a Black Panther character, I am just doing some touch ups in Flash, I will upload an image to photobucket soon. I would just like some tips on how to improve it.

Any criticism is appreciated, I need honesty opinions to improve my art.

*Note: Instead of sketching the changes onto paper and scanning it up, I modified my picture on my laptop. When the final design is created, I will sketch out all the changes onto paper with multiple expressions and poses and upload them as well.

Honestly its not bad... his expression is telling us what his personality is like.  I'm not sure what your preferences are but hey looks a little plain.  What I mean is there is nothing that is there to differentiate him from other black panther characters.  Consider giving him a hair-do or possible some kind of distinguishing mark on his body somewhere.

Please don't take offense but your anatomy is a little off, I get that your style is cartoony and simplified but his legs look like they are a bit too stiff, look at some people standing naturally and you will notice that their legs are relaxed and set a little wider apart.

As well his chest looks flat, like a piece of paper, try adding a line to give the impression of a second pectoral muscle or use lines to indicate that the chest sticks out just a liitt more than the stomach.

I only point out these faults because I want to help.  You did a pretty decent job and I can safely say that I have drawn MUCH worse in my career than that.  So cheers and good luck on more art.  Please post more I want to see if my comments have helped you any.

I understand that you are not trying to be offensive, and I do not take what you said offensively. I had posted this to see how to better improve the character.

About him being plain: I know that he is rather plain, but the clothing designs are only temporary. I plan on making the green shirt have a design on it and I also need to do a second head-shot showing his right ear. I had not thought about giving him a hairstyle, thank you for letting me know that. About having no distinguishing mark, I will try to find something to put in there.

Once I am done these changes I will post a second picture along with my first to see the change.
