New guy visiting Whistler for 11 weeks.

Hey everyone,

I'm a British fur from Hong Kong doing an 11 week lvl 1 and 2 ski course over here at Whistler Blackcomb. If anyone is in the area or would be interested in meeting up give me a shout, if there are any events going on I'm not really aware of how to get around on my own so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there mate, welcome to the forums and yes there are a Lot of events that are happening around. one best way to find out is to click on the Calendar to see whats come up and whats close for you to make. I would Love to hang Im free on the weekends and I need to get out more as I quit smoking so need the outdoors things to keep me going XD .

you live out AT whistler. or are you closer to the City? as i live on the other side in Surrey some ways away :P anyways talk at you soon ^.^

I'm AT Whistler in the village, about a 10 minuet walk from the nearest ski lift. ^o^

Also thanks, I know the navigation of the site. I meant more navigating myself around the area, like I heard getting into Vancouver is like a $30 bus ride though that seems like a lot and I've no idea where that's going from. >.<
