i was over at brentwood mall in zeller's and saw mucho stuff at up to 80% off, most at 60%.  if you like folgers coffee in the big red tubs, they are on sale for $7.  lots of other great deals.

men's pants reg $25 on sale $10

mostly mentioning this for the coffee lovers in here, but also the deal seekers.  if you have a restaurant and seek other fixtures,  they have lots on sale as well.

Man, these Zellers stores are closing left and right. It still seemed like it was only yesterday when the Zellers in Lansdowne was hosting its final sale, even though it was months ago.

I'm just sad to see them closing down period.

Now where am I supposed to buy miscellaneous stuff like clothing, music, cheap computer games, and random toys?!

Granted, I think I just about doubled my music library off these sales... =>.>=

Well, yeah.   Zellers was sold to Target (or at least the naming rights for the stores was). So the more profitable stores will become Target stores, and the less profitable ones will be closed.

I think that some of them might even turn into Bay Outlet stores... not sure.. the one near me has sold off/donated to charity all of its merchandise and is now full of Bay branded product.

Yeah! Max and I explored it for a bit. They have this curious back room which sells their staff kitchen appliances?? There's a large meet slicer, industrial sinks, strange used cooking utensils - like out of a horror movie.

I bought an orange hoodie that was 50%-70% off, or something of the sort. It was luck, as I was looking around desperately for an orange hoodie to customise for Vfur ... no one will guess what things I'll add to it, right?

I've been told that Zellers that remain will become liquidation outlets, similar to Fields.

I think the one in White Rock may go that route.

If I understand correctly, what Target actually purchased was the leases on a select number of locations. If anyone is actually interested, I can ask an ex-Zellers employee and find out for certain.

wheni was last in zeller's brentwood, i asked and someone told me that the zeller's in white rock will become a discount outlet for the hudson's bay stores.
