A shout out to all you coastal and almost coastal furs!

Greetings all! I'm hailing from Vancouver Island where I recently moved for my career and will be staying there for a good long while I reckon. I was into everything furry many many years back, but that was when the internet was first accessed by a horrendous metallic screaming box that was my 14.4k modem, FA didn't exist yet and I had no means to really go a con or meet other furs all that much. Then life just kinda took over for a few years as it tends to do and now I'm back. Looks like I missed out on Howloween and my plans for attending Vancoufur have been squashed by work but looking forward to future possibilities to go to a con finally. Now that I'm decently well established I want to take more than just a passing glance at the fandom and see what it's all about and meet some of the local flora and fauna! I also have pics on the way by commission because after neglecting my fursona for so long the internet just kinda ate him so it looks like he's getting a reboot.

I also want to add a couple of these in there because they're really funky.  :birdy: :birdy:

Thank you thank you. I wouldn't use the term "original fur" because I had very little opportunity to get really involved, though IRC and TelNet were pretty awesome ways to meet furs and keep touch while living rural. That and FurNation and VCL were the biggest sites at the time. FA definitely holds that title now, that site is HUGE!

i`ve been know to spent time on the isl., you should look into gottacon in feb in victoria if your a gamer type, and tsukino-con, the anime con also in feb. in victoria, diff weekend.

i go to both many years now, they great fun.

and def. check calendar for events on isl. and your area.
