>.> i'm 25 and been procrastinating for far too long, and am finally going to be paying off the fines that have been keeping me from getting my learners license, and i need to know where i can take driving lessons cheap

Hmm. I dont know any places that are cheaper then young drivers. And if they are, not by much.
I went to young drivers myself and i actually found it useful (mind you not all centers do well with their job. Mine was in squamish and they were fantastic when i went through it. worth the money.)

Hopefully someone else has something insightful for you.

Not sure why anyone would want to seek out the 'cheapest' person to teach you the rules of the road and how to not kill yourself while driving a motor vehicle ...
Personally, I would look for one with the experience and techniques that would teach me the best way to keep myself safe ...
But ya, cheapest can work too ...

what times does your schedule allow? mall parking lots are very usefull, and very quiet side streets, do you have access to a vehicle?, maybe same one you`ll take the test with?

the number one rule to never forget, is to signal your intent, not your actions, be a plus on the driving test.
you should join the "Ethereal friends of professor whovianart" on facebook, if anything, to find out where i currently am, or will be.

very little schedule limitations, but no access to a vehicle

all i have is a strange vintage vehicle, may not be best to start practising with, but maybe?

the optimum thing would be to practise with what you take test with, but whatever you get ahold of be better if you have someone that can give experience lessons with, no family member avail. for this?, or at least their car?

young drivers has the best program around.  most driving schools are about the same cost.  YD also has in classroom teaching where some schools only have the in car lessons.  when taking a lesson do not take a friend with you as they can be a distraction.  if you can find a car i am willing to give you lessons.  i have a class one w/air licence so i have lots of experience.

north shore driving school is also one of the best if you live over that way.  before you sign up with any school, do your research.  call icbc, the section that licences driver ed instructors, and ask them who they recommend in your area.  you could also ask north shore as i am sure they would know the good from the bad.  icbc should also be willing to say who you should stay away from.

good luck
1 ton truck available for hire.  contact me by personal message for info

i'll have to talk to ICBC and check who's able to, since TD is abit outside my budget at the moment

I went to Bestway on Blue Mountain in Coquitlam. I won't claim they're the cheapest (I don't know where they rank, and it was many years ago) but they were good.
