Is anybody looking forward to seeing an upcoming movie this year?

Personally, I can't wait for Aardman's latest film "Pirates: In an Adventure with Scientists" to come out on the 27th.
Unfortunately, we here in North America will be getting a less interesting title, "Pirates: Band of Misfits"...

I can't wait to see The Great Gatsby (Dec. 25).  The book was magnificent and has never recieved a proper feature treatment (the 1970s version having failed to live up to expectations).  It looks to be a prestige film, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in the lead roles, and Baz Luhrmann providing no doubt stunning visuals perfectly suited to the freewheeling jazz age.

This got me contemplating on the locations of where its going to be filmed. Given that Vancouver does have several suburbs of huge houses, I have a feeling that SW Marine Drive would be one of the locations used for West Egg. xP

I loved the novel - even though I had to study it in depth back in high school. xD

Actually, the production has already completed filming...in Australia!
