Furry gear

High-low fellow furballs. Long story short: I'm in the market for some (fake!) animal ears, tails, paw-gloves, etc to wear. I'm not looking for a full-on fursuit, just some accessories to wear with otherwise normal clothes. Ideally you'd suggest somewhere in Vancouver proper, but I can skytrain out if I have to.

Long story slightly longer: I was invited to a fetish club thing this saturday (it's called Noir, and a guy from noirvancouver.com gave me a pass). The dress code requires that you wear "fetish gear" of some kind, but I was happy to find out they were open to me expressing my furry little heart (rather than having to wear a corset or gimp mask or something). I feel like this is an important step for me; I'm still largely unexpressed in my day-to-day life. I want to seize the day you understand. Carpe fur.

Can you guys suggest anywhere I can buy this stuff? Again, not a fursuit, but ears, a tail, and some paws would be perfect. Stuff like that.

And naturally, fake is preferable. You might as well suggest places with real fur if you know them though, maybe someone else will be less squimish.

You can also take a look in the artist section, or sell/buy section to find fursuit makers in the area. :3

Oddly enough, furry is becoming rather mainstream in alternative clothing stores, so if you've got a Hot Topic or something similar in your area, they often have clip-on ears and tails, and sometimes paws, and they most certainly will have clothing with said attachments.

Noir was fantastic, but I'm not sure if the average furry would enjoy it. It seems to cater mostly to people that like S&M, bondage, etc. I had a good time dancing like an idiot though, and I met a couple furries who apparently go to gamenights organize by these very forums. Haven't had time to find them on FA yet.

I ended up going to a place called Deadly Couture. Again, their thing seems to be mainly PVC, corset, kinky things but they have a girl there who makes tails, ears, and fluffy leg warmers. She will do custom things, and I actually think you'd get a better set if you did that; it seems like customers routinely buy JUST a set of ears or something, leaving a matching tail without a pair.

That said, I was able to find a full set of ears/tail/warmers in bright white; an excellent companion to a venue with blacklight!

@temrin this is an excellent idea, and something I definitely want to explore. One of the furries I met had an AMAZING poofy fox tail that they'd apparently gotten from a local artist. I fell in love with it.
