Hellos!

We have a small bedroom here coming available for the 1st of August and are looking for someone to fill it!  The room easily fits a small desk, single bed, and dresser.  I can furnish the room if needed.  

The place is a nice older house only a 5-10 minute walk from Sapperton SkyTrain station, groceries, and the shops along Columbia.  There's a bit of a yard with a huge apple tree.  One free parking spot is available on the driveway, and garage parking can be made available for an extra $20/mo.  There is also free street parking a half block away.

We're all of the quiet and geeky type, and looking for more roommates of the same.  Students or professionals preferred, but I will look at anyone who is interested.  This is not a party house, though social dinners or game nights or that sort of thing are absolutely fine.  This house may not always be exclusively furs, but of course anyone else who moves in will have to be furry friendly.

Rent includes: Power, heat, cold/hot water, laundry, Internet and gas.


References required.  Pets negotiable, no smoking.

A dog might be ok, we'd have to talk about it more.  Mostly it would depend on the dog.  The house is under renovations so he(she) would not be able to roam free.  The yard is not completely fenced in, though the front is fenced off, it is only open to the back lane and the neighbour's yard (which is lined with hedges and stuffs).

Also the current guy in the room might want to stay a bit longer now, so we'd have to talk about timelines.  There will eventually be another bedroom available (when it has walls again) so things might work out well if you're interested.

I'm actually looking for a place for the month of September only (and I need to move out of my current house this time). Is this the small bedroom on the main floor, near the kitchen?

There is a queen size in there now, so it will fit along with a dresser small desk and maybe a night table or such.  But that doesn't leave room for much else!  A larger room will be up for grabs eventually but there is no way to get a queen sized box spring into that room, so might not be helpful.
