YAY! So I've been working on this since the middle of Jan. And I'm at a road block cause I'm going to China March 13th and all my money is going to that, so I can't buy fur (Not even going to the Con anymore). But I figure I'm at a good stopping point to ask for tips and comments. This is the first fursuit I've ever done, for the moment it's only going to be a partial, You've already seen my paws.

What I'd like some tips on:

My eyes are supposed to be follow me, but at the moment the only follow side to side not up and down.
My jaws a little to heacy with the teeth and tongue, it hangs part open (top picture), anyway to fix that?
since I could only manage to make the eyes using craft foam, I can only see out of my pupils. Is there anyway I can give myself more visability with out spending butt load of money? I tried to find some Buckram, but fabricland doesn't caring one I can see through.

You can make the eyes out of Sockings by painting them with a light coating of acrylic paint.

My best recommendation for the jaw is to reinforce the "hinge" aka if it built on a balaclava then add stronger elastic under the jaw.

I'm actually pretty happy with the eyes now, it's not bad compared to some. I'll try the elastic thing on the jaw. Thanks!

No prob!! I like to help when I can!!

I recommend checking the Fursuiting livejournal!! I have done that myself many times with varying amounts of success......if all else fails make a post!! The group is great for red lines(a form of critique) also many of the posters on there are pro fursuit makers, like jill0r, Kurobois, Matrices, ect.

How long do you suggest the pile on the fur should be? Should I buy some that lays flat or sticks up? I have clippers so I can shave it if need be.

I recommend 1" long fur, you will need to shave it. Trim it with scissors first then shave(It's easier that way)
