I don't know what to say... so...

Well I'm Novel. On DA I'm known as NoveltyAct, though you won't know that cause I have 2 watchers...
I'm from beautiful BC! About an hour out of Vancouver. Hopefully I'll be able to drive out there for the Con. If I can't it'll be my first. I love animals and love art, and when I was first introduced to the idea of a Fursona my eyes got all big, round and shiny. So... ya. I've been drawing since I was 11, made my first fursona (Novel) about 2 and a half years ago, and Nuka (my second) I made this summer. Though Nuka is a better representation of me.
I really want to go to the Con so I can meet some new people, with the same interests as me. Two of my friends cosplay (and so do I) but they turn up their nose at the idea of furries and antro's because they think it's just a bunch of people with fetishes for animals... Which makes me mad cause they're blind fools who are judging a whole group based on a small minority.
I don't consider myself a "furry" manyly cause I'm scared off what others will think. Yep.
Oh and I can't spell worth crap.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I don't own a fursuit, as I am poor, my mom would have a heart attack, and I'm alwasy worried that people will judge wrongly (I have really low self-esteem, can you tell?). My town is small and there's no one into this stuff here.

so? :3 not everyone owns a fursuit in the fandom, only a percentage of them really have one so no worries!

I don't have a fursuit either. Don't worry about it. You don't need one to be a furry. Heck, you don't even need a fursona to consider yourself a furry. XD
