Mike, any thought yet if maybe we could look into a 4 bedroom place?

You should talk to Kithop - he works in Kits and may be looking for a place, from his vfur post.

Well, I spoke briefly with Marzi' about his place, and my current living arrangements are quite... complicated right now. x.x;  One of my ex-g/f's brother's friends got kicked out of his place and just moved in with us this afternoon.  He's signed up for the army and may get called into Québec anytime between now and October for training. o_o;  My ex (who I'm still friendly with, we still live together, etc.) doesn't finish school for another couple weeks, at which point she has to go job hunting and find a place for herself at least.  She's offered to take her brother's friend with him, maybe, if they can work something out, which will then free me up to move out from here, as I'm paying for most of it right now with her having been in school and all.

So yeah, I'm probably not going to be ready until at LEAST end of July, maybe later.  I just don't know at this point - I'd love to get a place closer to Kits, preferably within the 1-zone for transit to save a little bit on the monthly passes, but still along a SkyTrain line or at least with fairly direct access to Kits.  That said, if I could afford it and the travel time, the north shore is omgpretty. *.*  It's semi-suburban and awesome, but also über expensive (though the same could be said for Kits and downtown anyway).

I have too much crap, but honestly all I need is a room with enough room for my L-shaped compie desk, my dresser, my bed, my bass amp (http://kithop.no-ip.com/images/NewBassRig-Small.jpg, and I don't crank it or anything - purely for shows :P), and a closet big enough for my junk.  I can deal with shared-everything-else, as long as I have that room, and a nice fat Internet pipe. :D  Oh, and I guess a parking spot for my car, though if the transit situation is sufficiently epic I might sell it and go without.

If Marzi' finds someone else or needs someone sooner than I can 'get out', so to speak, and you guys are still looking at that time, I'm down for meeting up and looking at places at some point. n.n

My Current roommate will be moving back home to Manitoba and I will be needing 1 roommate for July 1st. I will be making a new separate post on this but the basic info is:

  2 bedroom basement suite of a duplex. Per roommate = Rent:$460 + Hydro(Bi monthly) and internet ($25)
Located in North Burnaby 5508 Georgia street. It's clean and in a nice part of town, there's a bus stop across the street and a several minute walk to Holdem Skytrain Station. My only request for interested applicants is to have a stable job and respect the 11pm quiet time. If your interested please e-mail me at  "lavose@hotmail.com" so I can arrange a phone conversation and interview.

I've been furiously looking Kaji,  but I have yet to find a place that both fit the loaction that I want to live in and my price range.  But I have been giving it some thought and I am looking.  Stay tuned.

Also if you happen to find a place that you like let me know and I can talk it over with my roommate.

Nothing against you personally, of course, but yeah - I'm not a fan of those bridges. o_o;;;

I took a wrong turn heading out of Coquitlam one time and ended up in an hour long lineup to get across the Port Mann, only to have to get off, turn around and come back... if that's what driving in and out of Surrey is like, count me out... I'd rather stay on this side of the river if at all possible. X.X;  Not to mention, when work's in Kits, that's a heck of a commute. :/

Vanilla Skunk

ok, so does anyone work on this side of the water? :P

dragonmanmike

unfortunatly alleycat009 surry is out for me and Temrin as i work downtown and she is going to school in burnaby, so yeah surrey is out for me and Temrin.

Kaji

And I wanna get outta surrey. Never liked it here. I lived in burnaby before and I loved it. Was close to Edmonds station.

I would actually like to leave the city altogether, or get an acrage lot, like my sister has... and there's no acrage lots on that side of the water, as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong.... unless you go Poco, or Pitt Meadows... which is too far from work.  Then the neighbors are too far away to see or hear you, even late at night.

I am going to be investigating finding a place starting next month as well, hopefully Vancouver/Burnaby area, I have a steady though though it is not the greatest and it is a work from home and I will have my friend Lee that I have known for a good 4 years now with me and possibly my current roomie coming with.
