But I pretty much obey rules aswell to avoid being kicked out, its pretty common sense.
Like if you want to be loud non stop and be all partying up with other people all night then do it on the streets or at a scummy motel. Lol
But 'ey, I'm running out of "constructive" ways to deal with the situation. I've talked with my roommate for the nth time, and thus I've been spending long nights at the library. Looks like it'll be the same case this time, but only worse, 'cause I can't trust that quiet hours are going to be enforced that much in a dorm catering to a 3rd-4th year crowd.

Note to self: Buckle down and prepare yourself for incoming long sleepless nights.

Yea, if you are not happy with the situation you shouldn't have to keep dealing with it like that. Since you talked about it already to them just be straight forward and kick them out or move out, depending on who owns the place more.

If only I could, 'cause I live in a dorm as just a fellow student. I'm not, say, the head of residence, or even a Residence Advisor.

TLDR x2

^ Yeah man, keep it up.  Like a boss. -_-'

But yeah, having grown up on various farmsteads in Chilliwack, with a father and two grandfathers who were all heavy-duty mechanics, I learned how to swear before I learned how to dress myself.  It's not even something I consider to be offensive unless I'm directly telling someone to f***-off or go f*** themselves.  I now work in a factory around people who were--for the most part--raised the same way, and it's just the way we talk.  "Same old shit," this and "holy fuck, eh," that.  I always think it's a contextual thing and that's how it should be.  I don't think anyone should look down on or be offended by anyone who simply speaks a more vulgar dialect than that person.  It would be like scoffing someone for speaking a bit of French, having grown-up in a French-speaking area.

Drugs are the biggest lollerfest next to firearms.  Whether it's Vicodin or crystal meth, a drug is a drug and people take it for different reasons.  What matters is that they're doing a brutal number on your body (some more than others) and most of them are highly addictive.  I think that if anyone had a decent-enough upbringing, they should have the education to make their own decisions on what to do with substances like those aforementioned.  I know quite well how bad smoking tobacco is, but I still occasionally enjoy a cigar or some hukkah-tobacco for recreation and I pay careful attention to not become addicted to it.  I stay well clear of narcotics and mind-altering drugs because I simply don't need or want them.  I'll never touch anything like LSD or meth because I don't fancy the damage it does to one's brain.

Ultimately, "inappropriate" is right up there with the term, "normal."  They are both decided by the opinions of society and they are, and inevitably always will be, fucked.  If society decreed that it was inappropriate to listen to music, we who enjoy our mass collections of .mp3s will be tossed like a dry bone to the dogs for staying devoted to our precious commodity; lest we decide to change and conform to the norm, and drop the auditory escapism altogether.  However, it is unfortunate that we must align with the norm for necessary things like having a job, having fun in public without getting arrested, and having a voice that is considered valid among the general population.  Some liberties must be surrendered in order to make a living, and I'm fine with that, as long as it doesn't encroach up on my home-life and recreation.

Yeah, when it comes to drugs for me its kinda weird, like I find myself on this to that and realizing and stopping, to finding I haven't even stopped; I just moved to something else and it irritates me that I just cant get off anything and how my life just seems like a passing blur.
As of right now I just smoke pot to calm my mania sometimes or smoke cigars to relief stress; drink beer or coffee and have my medical drugs; which I just discovered my doctor almost killed me giving me a terrible antihistamine and also a MAO inhibitor combined and that was like being back on crystal meth.
Finding myself like a zombie with parkinson and had to smoke pot to kinda take the edge off and the next day I was still feeling it. Finding myself more manic getting scared of the weather thinking the world was going to end and having impulsive behavior.
So I am probably going to be switching doctors, cause we never really had a great communication to begin with.
My whole life always has seemed like inappropriate was normal, yet like you said it seemed like there was some mask being put on when going out. Putting on a show display and hiding your true self because society would make you feel ashamed, guilty and stupid.
People just generally fall into some deep denial of how we really are because we are brainwashed to think the government is right and we are wrong.
Or we all want to be so equal and perfect, so we restrain ourselves from natural impulses either living in a whole different world being too afraid of reality or just generally sick of reality and avoiding it.
I noticed those who step out of the brainwash things and live beyond society, they always get looked down upon and treated like shit.
I met some pretty cool homeless people, punk goth, mental people, hippies that would just fall out of the brainwash thing and do as they want and have fun and have a more sense of freedom even though they get the looks and judge but I realized no matter what label you get and what style you go for we all share same views in away.

Oh I don't put a mask on when I go out.  I meant just more or less when going to work or attending more formal meetings like classes, seminars... anything that isn't related to your own brand of recreation.  My attitude and my personality doesn't change very much when I go from person to person.  But when I need something from someone, like gathering new information at a power-engineering conference or conversing with a complete stranger to get the low-down on happenings in the area, I will adjust my personality for that singular moment for the purpose of taking what I need.  It's all about adapting to changing situations, and reverting to the same old self whenever it's appropriate to me.

Naetholix - Oh yeah, I get what you mean. Yea thats the same here, if it was for something important like a really good job or even just trying to get a job.
I use to have tons of facial piercings but decided to remove them just so I can hopefully land a job somewhere. Piercings are all healed over except my ears which I plan on stretching them more so I can fit in disks and I will prob be getting tattoos done up instead of piercings xD

Brittany-shadowwolf - damn =x my whole life revolves around blood and gore haha
