...Enter sarcasm somewhere into that title, but hey! I am curious about something.

Aside from sleep and popping pills, what are your methods of doctoring yourself? Let's say it's for just a cold...

Wanna' go beyond there? Sure! Let us know.

With my recent bout of sickness, I ended up making a tea mix out of echinecea and vitamin C. I milled them together and drank with a hint of honey. Och, it tasted sour and bitter to the end, but it seemed to do the trick.

extra vitamin c, lots of sleep, and i drink lots of water/weak tea. Oh, and I go into denial mode - "i'm not sick, this is nothing" It's how I kicked mono in 2 and a half days.
Your wish is mine to twist.

I don't take a lot of pills. Not huge on the whole pharmaceutical bs. The only pills I take are tylenol, and I'm trying to find a replacement for that.
I drink a LOT of orange juice. two or three 591 ml bottles a day. If I'm feeling a little nauseated as well, then I'll have some Canada Dry ginger ale. The fizz makes me burp, which helps the pressure in my stomach, and the ginger just helps. And warm/hot showers are fantastic for congestion. So are those little vicks inhaler things. Zinc lozenges for sore throats.
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, either way you're right.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and the world laughs harder.

It's not the destination, but the journey that moves you. It's not the company, but the friends who inspire you. It's not what you've experienced, but what you've taken from those experiences that strengthens you. And it's not the one's who talk to you the most, but the one's who tell you the most, without speaking at all, that fill you with love.
