Clueless to what it was filmed on, I'm guessing EX1?

I'll be able to do this once I have the guts to go to the main event... For now, still bowling only... Scratch that, after hearing Univaded used a Steadicam, I'm going this year.

If you guys can hook me up with the stuff, I can do B-camerawork at the 2011 event.

If not, I'll try to grab a HPX300 from BCIT Broadcast, which is one of these:

Actually, it's more complicated.  The equipment (HVX 200, Fig Rig, Location Audio kit) was provided by The Art Institute after my proposal was rejected, after Aphinity wrote to the film department head, and after she got the idea that maybe I could put this towards a future project (which I have since cancelled).  The chances of me having equipment of similar capabilities this year are slim since I graduate in the Summer quarter, so its more likely that I will be asking if you need help.  I can, however, relate to you what it was like to shoot at Howloween.

Ah, a HVX200... Not as good as the HPX300. (but the HVX200 is dirt cheap compared to the 300, 1/4 of the price of the HPX300)

But there is a similarity to our situations: I have to go through the same "approval" process at BCIT, needing approval for booking out this stuff. (since the institution only just got the equipment) Hopefully they'll just throw it up on a booking system by the time fall rolls around.

I got permission to film with a HVX200 recently from the Journalism department of BCIT for a "demo-reelish" edit I submitted to a place I really look forward to get employed at. P2 cards still had to be obtained from the broadcast department, but they literally have to discuss it in a meeting before approval comes. This was different though. I got approval most likely because it's a step to help me find employment.

We're shooting 3 commercials with the HPX300 in our TV Diploma this semester, one just wrapped up with the Coast Mountain Bus Company:

(No, that is not me on the camera. I was Camera Assist on this shoot)

The other two are via our group-oriented production companies.

If this is getting too off-topic, we can continue via PMs or a different thread elsewhere.
