For your consideration: Macintosh SE FDHD circa 1989

A Macintosh SE FDHD. Uses regular 1.44Mb floppies for data storage (of which I have boxes full). Has 1Mb of RAM, 20Mb hard drive with about 13Mb free space after having installed System 6.0.8 and Word 4.1. Comes with the appropriate keyboard, newer mouse (actually, you can have your choice of the newer Apple Design II keyboard or the original Apple Desktop Keyboard, I have both, the original rectangle mouse doesn't work though, so the mouse is a Apple Design II rounded affair). Has complete and original software and manuals. Also comes with ImageWriter II dot matrix printer and associated cabling. Everything works, but it's definitely a collector's piece (try finding software to convert Word 4 into something usable).

Asking $50. The printer, computer, manuals and software would easily cost you a cool couple hundred on Ebay. If you've wanted an old 9" black and white Mac, here's your chance.

EDIT: I took down the ad for the PowerMac, the more modern of the two machines. I decided I could probably get some more life out of it as a Diaspora server.

I rememver these!  Great machines!  I remember when my high school got them, in my last year.
Yeah I'd be interested, depending on my short-term cash situation though.
