Any furs interested in being a drummer for a punk rock band?

Hey all!   ;D

I'm kinda new here, and I started a band a little while ago.. We're missing a drummer unfortunately. I know most furries are into electronic music (at least stereotypically so) But I thought I'd just post to make sure anyways! Would be kinda cool to have a fellow furry in the band :P

We like to write catchy melodic songs, with metal influence present in most. Influences like older Offspring, Descendents, Bad Religion, The Adolescents, and Metallica's first album.

I'm flabbergasted at seeing another musician-fur that's not doing the electronica route, too, trust me. :P

Sad as it is, despite owning a drumkit, I am really, really bad at it.  Plus I don't have a big enough vehicle to actually move the damned thing myself from my studio wayyyy out in Mission here, as I'm more of a guitar/bass/singing type, and traditionally done more metal than punk (though I love both).

Still, best of luck finding someone, and be sure to whore yourself out do some self-promotion here once you have stuff rolling; I'd be interested in hearing it! :)

Haha! Yeah the whole whoring out thing will come soon enough. It's a bummer to hear you're all the way in Mission, or I'd say come out and play with us for a jam or two anyways! We actually practice at a studio called bully's and they supply a drum kit minus the symbols :P

It is good to see somebody else who likes the grittier stuff though! Punk and metal have always been my bread and butter too. I think I just decided I liked Punk rock better no more than a few years ago~ Thus the band!

I'm a drummer and I can play, I also enjoy punk rock unfortunately I don't own a kit atm
