Void, please forgive me if I come across as an alarmist,
yet is not this entire region, and by this I mean everything within the purview of the looming Evergreen Line,
subject to rezoning and subsequent demolition in the name of erecting phallic vereations to capitalism,
all beneath the misleading guise of urban density and diversification?

In other words, I am worried about the reclassification of areas near skytrain forcing renters out in the name of profit for developers and politicians,
which would suck as I am looking for a mid-to-long-term solution.

Am I being all crazy here?

(because I see it happening in many areas relative to their proximity to our glorious trains in the sky)
Biting is excellent;  it's like kissing, only there is a winner.

SharpCoyote, there is a difference between "subject to rezoning" and "applying for rezoning". Most of the area is in the latter category, meaning that applications are in with the city, however most are still under review mostly because the city has been pressured by the population of Coquitlam to not have massive towers up everywhere.

Near the stations, yes the city will allow towers, but only within 500 meters of said station, where I'm located is outside those 500 meters, which is why I have not received notice to vacate the premisses.

Thankyou for your concern
