So one of my old friends was on the bus with me the other day and showing off his latest toy and when my much beloved noticed my look of nigh pure lust that I gave it so he bought it for me!!

I now own one of the few copies of this spin off board game by Games Workshop (makers of WH40K). It is totally stand alone game and features a campaign between Space Marines in terminator armor,  and a tide of Genestealers trying to protect their home,

The live in a Space Hulk. To travel great distances people go through a near by dimension formed of emotions. Since it has no "space" or "time" one can go very far very fast. "The Warp" should be thought of like an ocean though and is very dangerous. Often ships will get destroyed, some are caught in eddies and wind up magically mashed together with other ships. These mashed together ships are called Space Hulks, massive labyrinths that wander the universe. Genestealers being one of the only species that can survive on one they are often used as a base by the Tyranid vanguard creatures.

This game features a a "jigsaw puzzle" type board which allows for infinite combinations in the map. A fascinating rule system that favors the genestealers (while the stats balance the odds in favor of the Space Marines) and some of the most beautiful models it has EVER been my honor to lay eyes on. If you get the chance there are not many left (the warehouse has been reported already empty) and they are not going to make any more.
