Vancouver Film School Student In Search of Apartment, West End Preferred [OLD]

Hey guys: I need a little help finding a bachelor/studio/one bedroom either in downtown Vancouver or within the West End. My budget does not exceed $1000, any listings you can find would be greatly appreciated.

Also: I would not at all mind a roommate! I do all of my own cooking (My signature fare are Italian/North American) , and being an ex-housekeeper I can clean a room in 10 minutes flat (that's if I'm in a hurry), the kind of roommates I prefer are furry, LGBT friendly, 420 friendly, and being a fellow VFS student would be a plus but is not a requirement.

Looking to move to the city around late August or Early September
