We've Got To Get Out Of This Place

I haven't posted on the boards in a long time, but I really feel the need to tonight. It's become clear that my roommate is not compatible with me and for the sake of my state of mind I need to leave and find another room to rent. I'm pretty easy to get along with, as long as people are decent and act fairly and in good faith. I just need my space is all. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Avoidant Personality Disorder, plus I'm Trans, which makes those both worse in my case. I'll be too stressed to work until I can go on HRT and start looking less hideous. So I wouldn't be suitable to rent from asinine judgemental dickheads.  :-\
I spend most of my time on my PC, and basically keep to myself. I'm incredibly frugal, so I'm very good at being self-sufficient on my disability cheques. Unlike a lot of people, I don't burn all my money on convenience things or smokes or booze/hard drugs, or fast/junk food. It would be nice to live with some other nerdy/techy person, if possible. My standards for the place are pretty reasonable; the suite/house should be in good shape, common areas should be clean and kept free of organic material that can fester, heating/hot water should be adequate, and there should be adequate power/Internet. My current rent is $450 but I may be willing to go to $500/month for a room in a nice place.
What is this I don't even. What I put here?

Well, the situation here has steadily gotten worse, and now things have finally broken. Because my roommate is psychotic, and my neighbour in the duplex is even more psychotic, they've conspired to evict me for... apparently no reason. The two of them are pure evil, and this building is a shithole as it is.

So, does anyone know someone renting a room? I'd also be willing to team up to rent. My budget is $450/mo, but I might be willing to go a bit higher with utilities included if the place is nice enough. Vancouver preferred, North Van OK, not Burnaby, maybe New West.
