(I had to use the stereotypical Australian greeting, couldn't help myself.)

*waves* Hello!

Anyway, at the moment I'm currently living in Adelaide, Australia. But very shortly I will be putting in my application for a Working Holiday Visa and going to Kelowna, BC.

I'm still somewhat new to the fandom having only met local furries this year, and with my going to Canada I'm interested in actually meeting some over there and hopefully making friends!

Don't be afraid to ask me anything, I don't bite :P

Heya welcome to Canada Eh!!! I'm moving to BC myself, but I'm moving to Kamloops. Two hour drive

Giggles HEYY hugs nice too meet you hope you like Canada !!!

Grace

Hello, that sounds really exciting! I'm a local, born and raised, so we'll probably meet if you wind up coming to any of our meet-ups.

Any particular reason you decided on Kelowna? Have you been here before or already know someone in the area? I know a lot of Australians come work the skii hills over the winter, so maybe it's the mountains that caught your eye?

Cassiden

I'm not in Canada yet, will be there Jan/Feb next year, but I'm wanting to get to know some peoples now so I can meet up when I get there without being total 100% strangers  :-3

I'm going over a friend, initially we were gonna go Toronto, ON but my friend knows a person in Kelowna and got told it was good. Only reason why we are not doing Vancouver is apparently its expensive to live there. Although probably cheaper then Aus living costs, since cheap places here are like $200-250/week on rent. I've never really looked at the hills, but I was planning for a job in bartending/waiter or something like that, I have been told there is a casino there so I was thinking there too. I'm not to sure how my accent will be received over there  :birdy:

Working Holiday Visa is 2 years and well I kinda plan to be there for that long, and if I like Canada enough I'm gonna try and get my citizenship (I don't really have much here in Aus keeping me here)
