Not to imply that I was dead or am a zombie now...

Anyway. I am not actually new to the furry community. I'm not actually even new to this forum. I lived out here in BC for about two years, move back to Alberta just in time to experience Mother Nature hating half the province, and finally moved back westward on September 1st.

I figured a reintroduction was in order, now that I am here for the foreseeable future.

So hey! My name is Aster Shae, and I am a dragon (and occasionally an ocelot).
Before disappearing, I was known as Mr Terrible by the few people who knew me. But as you can see, I have changed that. I will probably respond to either name though.

I am a 20 year old web designer/developer/generic-creative-type living in East Van. I used to tell people that I enjoyed drawing, but I haven't got much enjoyment out of it lately. I make music and write stuff and occasionally am motivated to do all manner of artistic things. Otherwise I enjoy walking around, hiking, and reading. I'm really awful at talking about myself and making smalltalk with people I don't know well, but quantum physics, the paranormal, astronomy, webcomics, and cryptozoology are all topics that will get my full attention. So yeah, I am a bit of an odd cookie sometimes. My profile might have more information than this, but it is probably outdated....

Hope to see you around! Embrace entropy!

welcome back.    keep your eye on the calendar for events happening that may interest you.  one way to reconnect with others is to attend the tuesday night sushi, located just downhill from the 4th street exit of the columbia skytrain station.  starting around 6.45 and wrapping up around 8.30.  food starts at $5 and goes up from there.  see their menu and map at okonomisushi.com
1 ton truck available for hire.  contact me by personal message for info

Welcome back, Aster! I remember the good old days when we slogged on Yotie's tromps. Last two were a huge hike far past Cypress lake (Lindsay Lake) completing the Halvor-Lunden kinda trail system, and a camping up to Munro lake for two days to see the Leonid meteor shower.

Tiger.

Thanks! Hopefully we'll get a tromp in this year before the snow starts! And man, that two-day deal sounds like awesome fun; I didn't hear that it was during the Leonids... But then I just would have been all sorts of jealous! :P

We should do sushi sometime if you're into it. Sushi Nanaimo is awesome.

Aster

Well, I occasionally find time to go to the Sushi meets, so I am not opposed to eatin' sushi.

I work sushi nights, though I work right next door to where Sushi nights take place and happen to know they serve inferior sushi to sushi nanaimo. Just making sure you actually like sushi, it's kind of a dickish Vancouverite thing to just assume everybody eats sushi, so I didn't want to do that.
