On Steam, a game was recently greenlighted called Towns. It was in a barely-alpha state back when it was posted for Greenlighting. And when it was published, it remained in that state... without any sort of disclaimer. There has been considerable backlash against the game itself against the developers for being shady dealers - claiming it was "playable" when it wasn't complete, and treating the steam community like a pile of trash. They've backpeddled a little bit from it, but, I don't think they were sincere at all in their apology - was more them trying to wash away the backlash and hate they experienced from the launch.

So, buyer be warned: Devs are in it for a quick buck, are dishonest, and don't handle criticism well at all. Try the demo should you choose, but again, keep in mind that they're the worst sort of developers.

Definitely not worth the 15 bucks. Go buy something like Hotline Miami instead. Those developers know how to treat their customers right, and the game is much more fun and actually complete.
