Mallets tend to work the cartoon style. lol.

My old boss had pills for this because she had Chronic Migraine problems, though i think some powerful tylenols Ultra Drowsy might be a better way to go.
Im no doctor at all though, DO NOT TAKE MY ADVICE lol

When I have a migraine, I just close the blinds, take a Tylenol, and put a cold damp cloth on my forehead and that usually helps me. :-\

I take T3's for most of my pain since it's the only pain killer I can take that works... and the other medical reasons.

But man.. that damn thing didn't leave for almost 17 hours. I really wanted to chop my head off. I don't know how some ppl can deal with chronic Migraines.

Well... i kinda... actually put myself in a state of self hypnosis... mine are related to eye strain, and i get like... "colored fuzz" in my vision, so what i do is focus on the darkest part of my vision (with my eyes closed) and try to .. well "make it bigger" and this takes time, but works like 75% of the time for me, also my mom takes a Drug called "imatrex" (SP?) super powerfull, super good, really evil O.=.o and kinda expensive, but they do work, talk to your doctor ^.=.^

Chronic migranes run in my family, though I've been lucky enough to not have much of them lately other than what Wyrd said of eye strain...  the damp cloth pitch black room idea used to work for me...  there are also migrane grade advil and tylenol you can get over the counter.

My sister had them way worse, but I can't remember the drug the doc gave her...  dangerous drug too.  What it would do is lower the heart rate, to decrease blood pressure in the brain.  However, it was addictive in the sense where if you would suddenly stop taking it once you started, you would have a massive heart attack or stroke, or something like that.  She had to wean herself off of it, but after she got off of it, she seemed to be fine, in the sense that she didn't get nearly as many migranes as before.

I get migraines due to an uneven focus in one compared to the other.  Basically I have one eye that sees MUCH better than the other and it causes migraines sometimes.  I find that a mixture of Asprin and Advil works wonders for them all the time.  You might want to try to drink plenty of green tea to relax yourself and open up those constricted blood vessels that are causing the migraine.  That is what at least works for me, but if they become chronic see a doctor!
