Big Thanks to the mods & A challenge to VI Furs

Hey everyone, I just wanted to be the first to thank the mods, especially Rain Rat for their efforts in setting us up with these new boards for general regional chatter. Looks great!

To the Island Furs among you who are lurking about and feeling too shy to jump in, I say: Let this be a chance for you to take a step out of that door and join us. There is a very large group of us and this is an opportunity for us to start making a stronger community and becoming more active as a group.

The Challenge
Over the course of June I challenge all VI Furs new and old on these boards to the following:

1) Make 1 new topic
2) Post at least three replies to other people's topics that you find interesting
3) Meet (Online or in person) one fur from the Island that you've never talked to before and engage them in a discussion.

I've had the opportunity to meet a number of great people via this forum, and I'm here to tell you, I've met some truly amazing people who impact my life in a positive way every time I hang out with them. Don't be discouraged if the first person you meet isn't your type of person. Just because we're all furry, doesn't mean we're all best suited to one another. But you WILL find people who you'll wonder how you ever went through life without knowing. It's low risk-high reward.
