Ugh I wish I could help by adopting some of your babies :( I don't want to offend you but have you tried posting this on craig's list ? There are some wonderful people on there looking for animals. I wish I could adopt the ferrets but I struggle to feed my cat and myself. But I will mention your needs to some friends of mine.

It must be killing you to have to do this ~hugs tightly~ I hope you life struggles get better.

They no longer allow people to put animals up on craigslist. I just put up I was looking for a new home for my animals, I didn't say anything more other than for people interested it email me and they even deleted that. If it's a "live body" including animals, they don't allow it. Free, or adoption, doesn't matter they don't allow it anymore. I tried many times and got a warning from them.

Really? 'Cause on the CL pages I look on it says at the top "no pet sales or breeding please -- rehoming with small adoption fee OK"

It isn't the CL staff themselves that delete listings. Just having another user flag it will delete it. Someone was rampaging on the Nanaimo CL recently. He posted something that WAS against the rules, and in retaliation, he flagged as many other ads as he could. One was mine, an ad that broke no rules at all... I was selling home made hammocks for rats.

I got a warning from the staff. Saying that I have too many flags over the same topic, which was adopting out my animals. And it happens within an hour after I post it every time. It gets flagged, then deleted. And I can't do shit about it and got a warning... for... what you say is allowed? Fucking bullshit... -_-; this just makes me more pissed off. Someone is trolling to flag and I am the one getting a warning?

That would be aggravating. Have you tried Kijiji and UsedVancouver? They allow pet rehoming.

Star, regarding the ferrets, I'm quite interested but I'd have to cross a few minor barriers to get that one taken care of; I will need to speak with Loial first. As my room-mate, he does get fair say regarding pets in the apartment, though I doubt he would mind ferrets at all. The other hurdle would be my landlord, though I don't think she would mind either; We are permitted small pets here, but I'm not quite sure ferrets are what she would have in mind. If it turns out all well and good, I would happily pay $120 for the pair of them for an adoption fee. They deserve a good home, I would be glad to provide one, and they're quite lucky to have someone like you looking out for them. I've been looking to get a small dook horde here, and this would be a good opportunity to conscientiously do so; I'd already been considering adopting from the local small animal rescue.

Well that sounds quite reasonable. But it is my mom trying to find a home for them. She wants proof of ferret experience and ownership. Such as dated/timestamped photos, knowledge, etc. She isn't asking an adoption fee as far as I know. But you will also have me to back you up with that sort of thing. Heck, brush up on your ferret knowledge and wow her with it. They need a new home badly as she does not provide them with the love they need. Just cleans their cage and feeds them. It's a very sad life for them. They need a loving home. And I know you love ferrets. ^_^
She will want a phone number or email address from you to talk with you. She will most likely want to text on the phone, but will take a phone call too.
