In writing, I digress really easily and usually have to cut my thoughts short. With free will I want to write as a tree grows branches to it's leaves (perhaps in an online interactive, it could work that way but I have yet to find an easy application to support my ideas). So now I want to restrict myself to commercial restrictions. To see if I am capable of production on different genres of interest and limitations of content. I want to know the top five genres of media, which is actually published in mainstream networks. I will also need to know how the lenght of a story is judge, be it word count or pages. It will be written on a computer. Programs accesable are WordPad, NotePad, and Microsoft Word Proccessor.

By short story I mean something that can be read, in full, while taking transit to work. Something that could be produced in a magazine. That's why there's such a defined content restriction.

As for genre selection (based on movies) I was thinking:
Action Comedy Adventure(aka. Family Film) ScienceFiction Thriller/Horror(Romance may actually have it beat)

These are stories restrict to my digression, so any character suggestions that you want me to attempt to throw into the story is welcomed.

I will post links to the stories in this thread, if it enables me to continually edit my first post,

I'm interested in lending a hand to a fellow writer in need, but I'd need to talk to you a little more, just to get comfortable with ya and such, I work better when I know who I'm working with.
