So back in the day i used to volenteer at cinemazoo, and i quit right before they got snitched on to the spca ( wasnt me lol) cause everything was dying cause it was just too darn cold to keep reptiles alive in there. anyways there were alot of supplies i baught for the feeder rats ( they deserve love too!) that i took with me to sell off since i payed for them myself.

I have wheels ranging from mouse/dwarf hamster size, to gerbil/juvie rats, all the way up to one that a chinchilla could use. I also have a glass chew proof water bottle, and a cute small pet cage that fits into an accompanying purse for outings.

I also can make fleece hammocks, pouches, and dog tugs. For dog tugs i use a 4 strand weave instead of a standard braid

*sigh* Theres one in every family sire.... TWO in mine actually, and they allways manage to ruin special occasions...

Hey! I also volunteered for him! :) I also wasn't impressed with the way he ran that business!  :-\

I was with them for a month in '07 to get work experience hours for my highschool credits. That guy used to hide away in his office all day and leave me alone in the zoo.  :( I was responsible for everyone's feeding schedules (except for the big things with venom or too many teeth) and I was expected to gradually clean every filthy pen there. Many of the animals obviously hadn't even been spot cleaned for months (some of them never) and the whole place reeked. Bacterial illnesses and infections were abundant, it was disgusting and depressing. I got worst stomach flu ever while working there. Probably from being up to my elbows in lizard shit. The feeder mice and rat tanks were all overcrowded, and the little things were literally eating each other, in some cases quicker than they could be thrown to the snakes.

That guy never knew what he was doing. He was keeping several illegal species while I was there, which are probably gone now, like deadly vipers, caymans and a crocodile. :P

The fall of cinemazoo was inevitable. Sadly I'm somewhat relieved that it's gone now.

i could go on and on and on about what i saw there, but thats not for this thread.... i stayed in denial about it all until he started giving away the rodents he said i could sell for myself to people.

well there was the time an aligator escaped and i nearly stepped on it in the kitchen... lol now that was a fun day. i forgot they could hiss and growl o.o
