Street Fighter 4 Tournament? Or Fighting Game Tourneys in Van? Something?

Im trying to find SOMETHING of a Fighting Game community in BC or Alberta or something close.

Preferably SF4, but id even accept multi-fighter based tourney, does anyone know of any upcoming events/tournaments around the general area that can cater to this? I really want to start competing, and hell even if i JUST missed the event and it wont happen for another year, id still like to know about it for next time.

I rented that game.. I'd be moderately interesting in training.. although I've tried so far and have had my ass handed to me pretty much everytime...

Lets not forget the upcoming King of Fighters 12 coming up, Tekken 6, and the classic revival of Capcom vs Marvel 2 on XBLA and PSN.

Lots of good reasons to be a fighting fan in this half of the year :)

I know this is way late... but Super Street Fighter IV is coming out... and SF4 is coming out on XBL as Direct 2 Drive

Of Fighting games though, seems that the Virtual on series is not really well known in N.A =(

Its the only one I'm any half-decent at XD

I remember playing that in College.. the end was really freaky to that game... and yay Fei Yin pulling a Sailor Moon tactic XD
