3 days I was invited to attend a wedding of a distant friend. I was completing the last of the finishing touches of the venue her wedding was to be attending. I was completing the renovations in my Fursuit partial as I often do when I need a break from life.

She asked me if I was attending. I mentioned I had never received an invitation. She formally invited me. I made an off-handed remark about attending as my fursona, and she said sure. Shocked me but I took it.

Today I attended early in fursuit partial - Medival Peasant Dormouse - helped with setup i then also:
- Helped the caterers,
-  Cleaned up the messes caused by the kids attending the wedding
- Watched the vows made
-  Did some dancing,
- Had my photo taken a few times directly.
- Ate dinner with the mask on. (carefully choosing dry foods)
- Chatted with people ( I do change my Voice when I am wearing the mask)

Some Say there was more photos of me than of the bride.

In-the-end I was pretty well accepted as a real person and seen as a novelty. I was able to stay in the partial for about 9 hours with the High of 30 - I didn't  even have to resort to my cold packs.

At the end, I change out of the Fursuit and walked around in my street clothes, with no one but the residents of the farm, knowing who I was.

It was a good day.

That's awesome, Chealse! I'm glad you had that experience!
I am but a blade in the crowd.

I have seen what comes of those who raise themselves above others.
