Hello everyone! Not sure if this is the right place for such a question, but I gotta ask, does anyone know where you can get cheap picture frames as large as 18 inches? My boyfriend and I bought a whole bunch of prints at Vancoufur and want to frame and hang them. We've checked two dollar stores, but they have nothing big, and Walmart's frames are about as expensive as the prints themselves. Can you even get large picture frames for cheap? Thanks!

Unfortunately frame prices are highway robbery.

Usually when you go shopping for prints the bulk of what you spend your money on is the frame and shipping. It's why it's often cheaper to buy canvas prints.

Generally you're going to get robbed one way or another so I'd suggest looking online and checking prices. But don't expect anything cheap.

Good news, everyone!

Michael's is having a sale this week on picture frames! Lance and I bought 3 double-packs of 11" x 14" and a bunch of assorted larger frames for under $70. We framed and hanged them all just now, and suddenly things feel much more furry around here. So awesome to see the art all throughout the house!

Also, thanks for the input Owl! We were prepared to wait a while to get all dem frames, but for once our timing was great!

Walmart is the cheapest for big frames. You could try a second hand store but sometimes they are just as much.

Never thought of checking there. I'll keep that in mind for the future. I'm sure that I'll be frame-hunting again sometime soon.
