Do You Like Swimming?

Because I LOVE swimming! :3 I'm a water kitty! Nyahhhh~

I want to get some swim meets going for the North Surrey Pool area, and would love to know if others love to swim too and would be interested in joining me! I don't like swimming alone - and as a rule no matter where you are you should never swim alone!

With the coli counts fluctuating so much I don't know how safe I feel swimming in the ocean. I know lots of people like to go to wreck but there are so many that don't want to go there too. A pool is also closer to me, and cheaper for me to get to than taking trains and buses to get to a beach somewhere else.

Cresent Beach and Blackie Spit are nice beaches and the coli count has been low, but they are in white rock and not everyone wants to travel there. Bonsor Pool is too crowded and too small. I mean it's right by metro so it's gonna be busy.

When I go to the North Surrey pool on Sundays it tends to be rather quite. And it goes until 9 pm Friday to Sunday. Monday isn't too bad either for free swim 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

So please let me know if you'd be interested in something like this so I can post something in Lower Mainland events if this is something people would be interested in! I may also do invite-only groups if that is something people are also interested in.

Swimming has been a strong passion of mine since I was little. I grew up swimming with the Juan de Fuca Coho, competing in competitions and such with other youngins my age. Since then I've dropped the competition settings instead focused on my love for lengths and leisures. I don't really like pools, and mostly enjoy my time at a lake nearby. I like to swim from one end to the other for fun and relaxation! It's especially fun to sneak in at night and enjoy the whole lake to myself.

I love swimming. Tough with my lack of transportation I rarely get to.. I'm not big on pools since I tend to find them crowded although in the summer lakes tend to be the same way.
I'd love to arrange something if I can get out that way more often.
