Rental / Housing / About to be evicted. Need hous...
Last post by FurryJackman - October 27, 2022, 03:43:24 AM
Currently paying $900/month and would like a basement suite with preference for a single bedroom bachelor's suite/studio.

My landlord died about 1-2 months ago and the person who took over is ending their involvement on Nov 30th.

Must be within the catchment of Royal Columbian Hospital, as that's my current psychiatrist.

It's expected the homeowner will issue an eviction on Dec 1st and evict everyone in the house by Jan 1st.

I have Starlink internet so that does not need to be covered. Would like utilities, laundry to be covered.

I will be at Howl if you need to contact me in person. Otherwise, PM for my non-furry e-mail and contact info.

Buy/Sell/Trade / Wanted....Diesel mechanic - li...
Last post by tokar - July 22, 2021, 09:07:59 AM
I am seeking the service of a light truck diesel mechanic.  There is a fuel leak coming from the top of the engine in my Ford F450, with a 7.3 diesel.  The fuel is coming from the top rear of the engine but not easily visible from where.
Being that I have a low income, my hope is to trade your mechanic skills, for services of the truck with driver.  I am also open to other trades if I can manage to accommodate your "want to trade".
Please contact me by replying to this post, texting me @ 604 500 toke (8653) or tokar_services@yahoo.ca
Thanks for reading.

I used some SGI workstations for one of my computer graphics courses in 1992.
SGI model 30, running IRIX 4.x I think.  The Indigo was new.  Jurassic Park was
in production -- my prof knew about it, but couldn't tell us directly.  He did try to
get me to animate dinosaur skeletons rather than human skeletons, with data
from the Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology.  We learned SGI's GL, before there
was OpenGL.  I was wanting to write a whole physics engine in  2 months, with
other courses to work on, too.  And the prof wanted me to learn more physics,
at a level I didn't know yet.  I ended up dropping the course when I realized I had
bitten off more than I could chew.

private room

Hi

My husband and myself are looking for a roommate.
I am currently pregnant and will have a newborn starting the first week of February 2021.

We are both in our 30s, non smokers/pot/vape, no pets, no drugs, minimal alcohol drinking.
Clean, kinda tidy, runs dishwasher every night, cleans up after self in kitchen with in a few hours, no dishes left overnight in the sink.

I work from home, where as hubby drives to work, he leaves around 715am.

The room is unfurnished, everything else is shared, and no space for other furniture in the common areas.
Shared fridge space and kitchen area/shelving.
One bathroom, it has a tub.
Parking for cars out front, as well as plenty of free parking by the park.

Rent includes everything, hydro, heat, internet, toliet paper, etc. No food included. Lol
Free laundry is shared with the landlords downstairs. No schedule, just don't forget about it!

We are often computer gaming or watching Netflix's, we do also have a large collection of board games.

Unsure when the person currently occupying the room will find a place, Could be Nov 01/15, or as late as Dec 01.
Viewings will take place starting in late Oct, early November.
Room can be furnished, negotiable.

We are open to someone looking for short or long term, ie if you wish to move out before the baby arrives.

Introductions / Back again. [PG]
Last post by RangerRivet - June 26, 2020, 07:50:07 PM
Dunno if this forum is active anymore, or if it's worth trying anyway, but its Drayyen here. I was active in this board 4 or 5 years ago when I was in college. Was just wondering if anyone in the area wanted to play some games and then go from there. Even people close in Vanderhoof or Quesnel, why not. Despite all its interesting quirks I think I'm interested in exploring the fandom again.

I'm in Prince George too. I left the furry scene years ago, in Vancouver. But I'm lonely and I think I feel now the way I did then, so here I am in PG. @Spookysergal on telegram if you want to chat.

I don't know of any transition houses on the island, but I know there are quite a few in the lower mainland, with affordable housing.
