Where should the line be drawn to be considered a Lower Mainland Event rather than Rest of BC event?

I haven't had a good consensus on what location of events should go in the Lower Mainland Events and what should go in the Rest of BC events. So I'm going to hold a poll on where you think I should draw the line on Lower Mainland events.
Poll responses based on "Well, Lower Mainland technically means ..." are only marginally useful; I can change the name of the board. What is useful to you? (for instance, transit could be a big factor)
If it cuts off at Langley / Maple Ridge, it should be renamed Greater Vancouver.
My two cents.
CHILLIWACK IS PART OF THE LOWER MAINLAND!
woo lets go chilliwack~!
I lived in Abbotsford and learned through many sources (including police, looking up laws in regions, internet stuff, etc) that Chilliwack is part of the Lower Mainland.
The lists I find are usually like this:
Lower Mainland Cities
Vancouver
Abbotsford
Aldergrove
Burnaby
Chilliwack
Cloverdale
Delta
Fort Langley
Langley
North Vancouver
Surrey
Tsawwassen
West Vancouver
White Rock

If any of these help.
I also feel that the lower mainland should be labeled on here as the government labels it so there are no other "versions" of it. I have not found that it goes as far as Hope.
If you're talking transit, Translink (not bc transit) cuts itself off in Aldergrove, but Abbotsford is 100% Lower Mainland so that is not really a good source to use. Also, the west coast express still falls into that and goes to Mission. So transit isn't the best way to determine it.
I'd ideally say anywhere Translink can spit you out at, because I think maybe two years ago I'd commented somewhere about GVRD being a probably better name for what it is currently and Translink serves pretty much all of it. I'd personally not vote for the change.. Greater Vancouver sounds specific even if it is more correct as to what people post.
Forgot to add, I think we shouldn't worry about "rest of bc" anyway because there is so little going on may as well lump everything in BC together @@
I think of Surrey, Langely and Abbotsford in this list but in general I just think of every little small town.
I want to emphasize that I am looking for more of "What is useful to you?" rather than "What is the technical definition of Lower Mainland?". I can change to name of the board to match your definition of what you'd like it to include. For instance it could be called "Greater Vancouver Events", "Metro Vancouver Events", "Fraser Valley Events", or outright say "Cities A, B, C, D events"

I have come to find the "rest of bc" thread is not used enough to be of much use. And people that want to go to events almost never check the "rest of bc" unless they live in the far interior. When I was in Abby and my stuff first got moved to "rest of bc" no one saw it and the only people that showed were those I actually spoke to one on one. I know people like to see what's going on in their direct area, but personal experience has lead me to see that if everything is individualized like "cities a, b, c etc" then people are less likely to look at what can be in the next town over. I think with Nostalgicmon and Tehbet trying to start furmeets, I think there should be a furmeet thread - regardless of area. That way people can look that up instead of worrying about area. When I was in Abby people came from north van, Maple ridge, white rock, etc to come to my events mainly because of where I was able to post it and what thread got seen the most. People are willing to travel for a meet and hanging out. I hope any of this may be useful. <3
Lower mainland ..... Squeamish to Hope
Greater Vancouver .... Horseshoe bay to Langley/Maple Ridge
I'd probably split it into 'Metro Vancouver' and 'Fraser Valley', i.e. everything out to Langley in the former, then Abbotsford and Chilliwack in the latter, purely for transit purposes.
Or, considering the low volume, get rid of the divisions entirely and just have one 'all of BC' board and let people decide for themselves how far they want to travel.
The GVRD or now know as Metro Vancouver is as such: https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Greater+Vancouver,+BC/@49.1916886,-123.8187987,9z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x5462ce9005f9dfa5:0xce9c6c979ef4fca6 (https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Greater+Vancouver,+BC/@49.1916886,-123.8187987,9z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x5462ce9005f9dfa5:0xce9c6c979ef4fca6)
Lions Bay - Aldergrove.
IMO, Lower Mainland = Sqaumish - Chilliwack. Hope and Kamloops are a be far out.

I actually did try a Lower Mainland(out to Langley), then Fraser Valley, then Rest of BC progression (three boards at once, plus Vancouver Island, plus Rest of World) and the Fraser Valley board was almost unused.
As for an "All of BC" board, I'm currently not considering it. Just this one issue for now, though I could revisit it further in the future.
The poll hath spoken!
Alright, poll has spoken. I will implement it going forward.
My concerns: If the cut off is say Chilliwack, the multiple events that I post in Hope will not show up in 'Lower Mainland Events' and most who live in the Lower Mainland will not see my events - even though I am catering to those who reside in the Lower Mainland.
Is it so bad to include Hope? Are there that many Hope Furs posting events?
Is is just me, or does no one actually click the lower mainland event forums to find one? It is always in recent posts, the calender, signature or "events coming up" at the bottom of the main page I check.

This sounds counterproductive to categorise Fraser Valley/Rest of BC stuff in Lower Mainland, right? Why have it specific if half of BC is lumped in to it?
Perhaps "Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley" makes sense as the people who can go to either places are often seen going to events in both areas, and Rest of BC being, say, Camp Rawr in Penticton or Kelowna /etc. but I think what the poll has decided now works.

I personally think it should say BC events and not have a place specification so it doesn't matter how far someone travels. I think if people in Vernon or Peachland (which there are furs out there I met them several times) see events posted all on one thread they can travel accordingly. Like your events for Campfur, it's for all furries in the province and so few look in "rest of bc" or anything like that at all. The fur I met in Peachland said they would drive out to local events that are a few days long like Camping or Vancoufur but she didn't know how to work the forum and couldn't find anything in their area because she didn't know it was separated. I saw her once on here then never again. The other two in Vernon travel to Hope all the time, they aren't part of the forums - yet. It would make more sense just to have a BC residents thread than something in pieces with so many furs going across the "lower mainland" and "Fraser valley". And the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland also cross over each other so the line gets more skewed.
