i just invested in one, as a way to help kickstart my art production again. I have not been drawing all that much in recent years as i have been writing more. I was just curious who else may own a cintiq. i have the 13HD which cost me $1140.00

I got a Cintiq Companion W7.
Its collecting dust. #lul
Lotta dough to sink into something like that... would it not have been better just to get an intuos, same sensitivity of panel with less wallet rape. (depending on the generation)
Been rocking the hell out of a 6x8 Intuos3 for years now, more than earned its keep.
while I'm not a cintiq owner as I feel my art skills isn't strong enough for it to pay for itself for that investment
I am an intuos 5 medium owner and so far has been perfect for me
I've always wanted a Cintiq but I've never thought the amount of money would be worth it, considering my art skills. I've had my eyes on the smaller Intuos Pro tablets though... :)
Being an animator, I have owned a 3rd party tablet, bamboo, intour, and a cintiq. my cintiq has the highest pressure sensitivity out of all the tablets I've owbed and is way more useful for maya, zbrush, mud box, after affects. ect. I love my 13hd which I got for 1300 in ab, which was just more saving the my intous medium, which when I got it was 700
a good note for every tablet owner... just in case somefurs are slow like me, try every setting everywhere if you're finding things awkward
