You do realise that both Transformers and My Little Pony are owned by Hasbro? All they are doing is cross-promoting their own products to try and garner more business.

I saw the movie, and yes that's a real scene. It's the science "geeks" fooling around in the lab tossed in as a gag at a dramatic part
