Hey all.
I'm wanting to know a little a information. I'm wanting to visit Victoria for a weekend, I'm currently in the Vancouver area, how ever I'm not entirely sure how to get there. I do not have a car (might be willing to rent a car for the weekend). My current plan is to get to the island in the morning check into a hotel (currently plan to rent a room for the night) and explore the area, possibly meet some of the island fuzzies (how ever this isn't entirely critical for me). To be blunt I kinda just want to relax a little and be the dumbarse Australian tourist for a couple days.
Cheers,
MoistCat.
There is a city bus that will take you from sky train to the ferry. You can walk on for $16. You take a city bus from ferry into Victoria then. The ferry lands in Sidney, the bus ride is about 30mins into Victoria. I've done it lots.
You can also take a Greyhound etc. type bus which will take you straight from Vancouver to Victoria. It takes you from Vancouver to ferry to Victoria. Never done that yet.
Depending what day yiu are in town, I've got a truck & can hangout.
