Hey all~
Long story short, I am having a lot of issues with my current landlady and need to find a new place to rent. I'm still new to Canada but will be getting a full-time Graphic designer job somewhere in Main-street Chinatown. I'm hoping to snag a room to stay with some furs.. Somewhere around August or later this year.
However I'm picky with some things though..
~ I'm hoping to find a place along Burnaby or anything near the Canada line. I rely on public transport a lot and wouldn't want force myself to get up extremely early for the sake of travel times.
~ I'm hoping for a place that's somewhat furnished. Because I am not exactly a Canadian citizen yet ( I would be on work permit just to clarify), I budget a lot and I wouldn't want to buy a bed only to have to carry it all over the place if I happen to move out again.
~ Got no pets. (cuz I'm not a Canadian yet) I'm cool with them though.
~ No need for a parking lot or car. (cuz I ain't a Canadian yet) Maybe a bicycle if I decide on getting another.
~ Nice roomies who don't cause too much noise or trouble for me. I don't smoke, drug or drink, just a workaholic. (Work, Game, Art) Quite a clean freak as well.. (Unhygienic places make me fall sick easily..) Feel free to sneak in and watch me work on art though.. lol.
~ Internet.. obviously can't live without.. I do quite a bit of gaming, so if you do too that would be pretty cool. I will also respect your use of bandwidth. (ie: I ain't gonna youtube when you are in the middle of an online game coz I know firsthand how annoying that can be.)
~ Got a kitchen? I'm a month from graduating from Culinary Arts. So yes I know how to cook a wide variety of stuff, problem being its always too much food for myself - that and the current landlady still thinks I'll burn her kitchen and hates sharing it when she has to cook for her own family..
~ LGBT, no problem.. I have uh - ..-had-...a boyfriend. We still go out together though..he's a local dude named z00p.
~ Idk. I'm still new to the local furry scene, but I'm sure you guys wouldn't mind welcoming another furry artist from a different region of the earth, would ya? `w`
Leave me some comments if you can help. I hope to meet some new fur friends around here. My parents are also trying their best to sort things out for me so I can start my life in Vancouver (I'm here alone). Who knows I might find a place of my own and be looking for roomates instead later on..?
I have a room available for August 1st if you're interested, 500 per month plus 1/4 the utilities, and a security deposit of 250. We're located in West Coquitlam (Burquitlam Area), 15-20min walk to Lougheed Town Center Mall/Skytrain, Near several bus routes if needed (97 B-Line, 151, 156, C24)
