For the prerelease today, I chose the Black pack. I did terrible (seventh out of eight). Before I say what deck I made, I'm curious what you would have made from these packs. You don't have to list a whole deck(but it'd be cool if you did), just what colour(s) you'd run and any key cards you see.

If I was going to sprinkle red, I'd definitely have 4 Magma Jets and 4 Titan's Strength. I find Scrying is a pretty powerful move.
Here's what I came up with after a little bit of futzing around: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/journey-into-nyx-prerelease-deck-rainrats-pulls/ (http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/journey-into-nyx-prerelease-deck-rainrats-pulls/)

This was a Sealed event, so I only had one of each of those. I could not put 4 in my deck.
I don't have an exact deck list, because it morphed a bit over the course of the event, but here's the general idea of what I did with the deck:
First, I saw that Master of the Feast and Extinguish All Hope were quite powerful. To make EAH more of a one-sided wipe, I looked for Enchantment creatures. That would put me into Blue as the second colour. The number of Constellation triggers in those prompted me to look more at extra Enchantments like Pin to the Earth, including the Riptide Chimera for more triggers.
Don't get me wrong it actually worked a few times, for instance, Doomwake Giant for a one-sided board wipe or Unblockable for the win. Maybe it was bad luck, maybe it was play mistakes. For instance of bad luck, the one time I could have casted EAH, I was already the only player with creatures.
Lastly, I briefly considered three colour in going Grixis, but with no mana fixing of any kind, I didn't dare go three colour.
If anyone wants to do the same with mine, here are my pulls: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/journey-into-nyx-prerelease-pulls/ (http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/journey-into-nyx-prerelease-pulls/)
Here's what I pulled in the second Magic prerelease. Again, thoughts welcome.

Your Green is really scary good, definitely would run that. After that, you've got some Black bombs in Whip of Erebos and Worst Fears. You got access to enough mana fixing that I'd go three colours. I found that white flyers gave me a lot of trouble, so maybe Green-White splash Black.
Of course, this is the guy who got bottom quarter in two prereleases so take with a grain of salt.
Yeah, I probably should've done something more like that. I ended up running Green/Red and it was decent (I like those Sigiled Skinks...), though I didn't do as well as I could've hoped: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/journey-into-nyx-prerelease-deck-1/ (http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/journey-into-nyx-prerelease-deck-1/)
I didn't have much protection against flyers to speak of (I swapped in the Nessian Asp at one point), though my general strategy was to overwhelm the opposition before that ever became a problem.
The green should provide a nice core for my blue/green ramp deck, anyway.
Here's another sealed list; what would you have made?
