I'm Warden. I've probably been furry since I could understand what it meant, which admittedly wasn't all that long ago. Anyways, I'm brand new to the furry community, looking for some way to get started. And what better way to get into the community than by going on a furry binge and signing up for every website ever? ;D Oh, that's right, registering for VancouFur 2014.
As for my fursona, I'm not completely decided, but I think it'll stay a Tibetan Wolf for the foreseeable future. The lack of any pictures/references/avatars of him is disheartening, but I am looking for commissions for when I get back from vacation.
Anyways, I digress. I'm excited to be a part of this community, and hope to meet many of you in the near future.
Cheers!
A good way to start in the new year would be to go to events! Sushi Tuesdays is always very low key and welcoming. The New Years Eve Turkey bash is happening and would be cool if you showed up ... There's lots to do!! Get out there and get known!
Sounds like fun. Where are these normally located (is there a place to see these event details), and are they recurring each week? I'm just asking because I'm currently on vacation and won't be back until a week or so after New Years.

I sometimes frequent sushi, it is a great way to pass a Tuesday night and to make connections within the community as many attend from the area.
The Amur tiger welcomes you to our community, Tibetan wolf.
Thanks, guys.

Yeah, I'd love to attend the one after I get back. I think there's one the day I come back, though, so I dunno if I can make it. I'll definitely be attending the one after that, though, seeing how much I love sushi.
