I'm serious! I'm bored sitting and waiting in Winnipeg to move to Kamloops next weekend. No one likes me here, as is made apparent by the fact no one is saying goodbye to me here :/. Anyways...the only problem I foresee in Kamloops is that the only thing I'll be doing is looking for work, then working, meanwhile I won't get friends. Oh well anxiety sucks don't it? XD either, I'm amped for next weekend and I'm hating the fact I'm sitting around waiting cause no one here wants me for anything x|
Take it day by day, and find the reasoning behind things over judgement and a balance after you move here. I was afraid a full time job would stifle the things I do, but they seem to find their ways to me. Knowing when I work, a month ahead helps me work around this too. I am certain you will meet some interesting people along the way, it does not have to lead to friendship - you will find new people each day to speak with, and some will be within the circles of your routines and this could build the grounds needed for friendship. Stay focused and the few times you can find the moments, cherish with other people you truly enjoy the company with. :-3
Planning to come to Vancoufur if you are unable to find local events sooner is something people often try to do, some came from as far as Penticton and Quesnel within BC to meet the faces they see on here!
