: Another fur house anyone?
: sniffum August 03, 2009, 11:17:16 -06:00
I'm looking at moving... I would love a house though and know I can't afford it fully on my own. I would need to be staying in the Commercial Drive area of Vancouver as well as my daughter goes to school and daycare there... It's a bi*ch to find a daycare without a waiting list.

It would be soon as in the next couple of months and yes I am looking.

My on site manager/land lady is a real psycho. I was hoping that it wouldn't come to this as I'm tired of moving... a few of you know the story lol I would love for this to be close to one of my last moves.

My rent right now is 1,050.00 and yes this is without a room mate and it's starting to drain me quite a bit and I'm looking to lower it by 100 or more if I can.

I know I've missed out on a few good deals with the last fur houses, but I need this change and I'm going to push myself into it.

Send me a message or add your thoughts here.

Let me know if your interested in starting a new fur house in Vancouver and yes it will have to be kid friendly in the main parts, but the rooms are a different story as its your own space!

Seriously looking now. I have a viewing at a 5br place today. Please let me know if your interested! between 4 people it would be about $800 and that's with net/cable, hydro. Without it would be about $650 to round it off.

I'm going to throw my name into the hat as recent developments in my life have necessitated a move.

$800 will probably be a bit steep for most people. I notice more rooms tend to be cheaper per person but then again you have to find that many more reliable people which is a challenge in itself. If you happen to find one that's lower I would certainly be interested.

I'll looking to move around the end of September. I don't know if that co-insides with your plans or not.

Im looking to move INTO Vancouver, and ive been proven reliable... but damn.. $800 is a bit steep for myself to handle, especially since im now on E.I. for a while :\

otherwise id be happy to throw my name in the hat too >_>

Our upstairs neighbors purchased their own house, though I don't know when they'll be moving into it.  Rent there isn't so steep, but when it becomes available, that's three rooms available.

The landlord likes to tack on a little more rent when there's more people than rooms though, but it is still less per person when all is said and done.

I'm out in Langley though, still part of Greater Vancouver for those who don't live here, so the price of living is quite a bit lower, and there's less "city grudge" personalities here compared to the western part of our city cluster.  I can post more info when I know what plans are.

Really can't do Langley... To far out for me anyway... It's hard enough to even think about having to change daycare locations and schools again....

Glad to see others interested... I understand the more the cheaper, but I doubt I can find to many as is it took how long for anyone to post to this topic...

I know that.  I posted because there are others who read the topic and might prefer Langley over Vancouver.

Relax.  All I'm doing is mentioning a possibility for the future, where it's most appropriate to be mentioned.

I don't need to create a topic when one is already here.  That would be a waste.

You want a furhouse, I want a furhouse, same topic, different location, big deal.

And instead of apologising for something, wouldn't it be better to simply not do it?  If you want to be nasty to me, you can click one of my IM's, and we'll talk about it.  This is supposed to be a peaceful community board.
